Trip to Asia (Day 7)

Time flies and I am leaving for Toronto, took only one picture, otherwise busy stuffing everything into the suitcase and prepare for the 15 hours flight back home.



Here is a shot inside the airport inter-terminal rail car, I think TTC can really consider installing a pole like this one, that way people can not lean on it so that other people can share it.

Trip to Asia (Day 6)

Day 6 is relatively easier... just finish with the shopping list for others and meeting more friends, but it rained all day and heavy at times.

The food arrived and we started debating whether we should begin with the bottom level or from top down, we end up started with the scones.

Trip to Asia (Day 5)

Day 5 is the big day, my college buddy Frankie's wedding and my task is being "brother" or in English term the "groomsman". We started early at 9am and it went all the way the evening banquent.

After the ceremony, I skipped the photo-taking and headed to meet with my best friend's families for afternoon tea, on my way I ran into a demolition site and found a historic building has gone but this tower. I guess this is the idea of how historic site should be preserved in Hong Kong.

Trip to Asia (Day 4)

Time to return to Hong Kong and get ready for my buddies wedding tomorrow. Here is an art display inside Bangkok's New airport.

Inside the giant terminal is endless duty free shops.

Trip to Asia (Day 3)

The best way to start a day is a perfect breakfast and a cup of coffee.

My room overlooking Siam Square, where is the shopping and clubbing central of Bangkok. The MBK mall is on the far end of the photo.

After all day touring, meeting friends, I round up the day by eating my favourite dessert dish "Kow Neuw Mamuang" (Mango Sticky Rice).

Trip to Asia (Day 1 & 2)

I took a trip to Bangkok and Hong Kong for 7 days from September 19 to 25, left Toronto on September 19 and arrived Bangkok next day, moved on to Hong kong on September 22 and stayed for 4 days. Here are the images from first and second day of this trip chronologically.

After 15 hours + 2.5 hours of flying, and then 2 hours traffic jam on Bangkok's highway, here I am checked into my hotel room.

After the long flight, I was too tired to go anywhere and I decided to order room service. Here is Real Pad Thai (no Ketchup) and assorted satay.
